Whether working with a single strand or thousands of wires, I rely on its durability in the elements to create dynamic, sustainable designs that endure over time. Its exceptional structural properties allow for impressive height-to-base ratios, resulting in visually striking and dramatic forms.
The result is sculpture that conveys graceful lines, a sense of motion, and an unexpected lightness, as seen in my piece Flying. My dandelion sculptures, in particular, come alive in sunlight and breeze—gently swaying, shimmering, and casting ever-changing shadows. These natural interactions bring a sense of movement and a touch of magic to each piece.
Inspired by the universal symbolism of the dandelion, my work evokes whimsy, nostalgia, and wonder. It invites people of all ages and backgrounds to pause, make a wish, and dream.”
